Whether it's your grommet's first board or you need a high performance piece of foam to keep your wave count up through Summer, the new 5'6 Pop Stick will get the job done!
We've updated the shape of the 5'6 a bit this year. It's got a slightly higher widepoint creating a bit of extra volume up front for paddle power, stability and just generally milking it on the small days. We've also kept plenty of surface area through the tail for a bit of extra drive and a nice rounded tail that won't hinder your top to bottom surfing if your that way inclined.
We've thinned it out a touch, added a stringer, and combined with the new fin system, this thing is a weapon. Don't believe us? Check out Perth ripping in the clip below!
The Pop Sticks are based on a traditional surfboard shape and designed for all levels on surfing, although we have given them a little bit of extra width and thickness. Suggested lengths will depend on height, weight and skill levels. For more info on sizes, check out our Size Recommendations page.
For the beginner to intermediate rider, these boards are a good step when progressing from a Mini Mal, or when the goal is to ride a fibreglass shortboard.
For the experienced rider, these boards have a little bit more rocker, making them more suitable for better wave conditions, and similar in performance to their usual shortboard.
Features
The boards are constructed using exclusive Softlite Moulds - This ensures that every board comes out identical with no imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.
No screws on deck -No kicking your toes on screws, looks good and is easier to wax deck.
Bones and Shanks Fin System - Easy to install and remove fins. Compatible with other fin two tab systems, allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance
Bamboo Stringer System - This is re-enforced with fibreglass sheeting and epoxy resin to give the perfect amount of flex.

- We provide *Free Shipping only for Australia Mainland locations on all orders over $100 (excluding Demo and Seconds Boards)
- $18 Flat Shipping Rate for larger items under $100
- $10 Flat Shipping Rate for smaller items under $100 (Neo 38" boards, board bags, leashes, spare fins, accessories etc)
Upon completion of your purchase, our team will organise for your product to be dispatched as soon as possible. We will also notify you when your product is dispatched via e-mail and provide you with tracking details. (If the item is not available, you will receive a notification with alternative options).
We apologise in advance for all unforeseen circumstances or disruptions that can happen during your purchase and that will potentially affect the availability or the delivery of our products.
- All items marked as "In Stock" and *available for purchase are stocked in our warehouse. *Please note that even if an item shows 'in stock' online, it might still be unavailable due to exceptional circumstances such as stock inventory errors, freight or stock damage, or to other reasons beyond the immediate control of the online system. If so, the customer will be alerted via email or mobile text message.
- If available, all orders will be dispatched within 24-48 hrs depending on the order volume we are experiencing, please allow 2-3 business days for delivery to most postcodes within NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA.
- For Western Australia, Northern Territories, Tasmania, and remote regional postcodes, orders may take up to 5-10 working days and additional fees may apply such as Agnes Water 4677 and all other remote, regional areas or islands surrounding mainland Australia. - All small parcels are sent via Australia Post or Direct Freight Express Couriers. All prices include tracking & insurance. Once your order is fulfilled by us you will be sent your tracking number via the e-mail address you provided at checkout.

- There are no deliveries happening during weekends or public holidays.
- Please note that for these orders, unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to PO Boxes.

Important information:
- Sorry but our courier does not deliver to PO BOXES addresses, instead please provide an alternative residential address such as a work address or a relative/friend's residential address.
- Orders made on weekends and public holidays will be dispatched the following business day.
- We pick, pack and process your order as fast as possible once you have completed your order. Due to this, we cannot guarantee changes to your order including your delivery details, items, and sizes, or remove items from your order. If you change your mind about anything, please let us know ASAP and we will do our best to assist.
- For board orders, the courier may require a signature upon receipt of delivery. Unfortunately, drivers are not supplied work phones by their courier's company to call before delivery, If no one will be able to accept the delivery, please consider providing your work address. If this is not possible, with your consent we can give the driver "Authority to Leave", however, we accept no responsibility once the item has been delivered.

We endeavor to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct.
